Gemstone & Material Identification English Rose is not a certified gemologist. All stone and material identifications are based on visual assessment only and should not be taken as professional gemmological certification. Where stones are described as appearing to be a particular type (e.g. moss agate, topaz, garnet), this reflects our best visual judgement. If you require certified gemmological identification, we recommend consulting a qualified gemmologist. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Metal Types & Hallmarking

Sterling silver (925) contains 92.5% pure silver. All sterling silver pieces sold by English Rose that carry a UK hallmark have been independently tested and certified by a UK Assay Office — your guarantee of quality and authenticity.

Vintage & Pre-owned Jewellery

Our vintage and pre-owned pieces have been loved before. Light signs of age or gentle wear are part of their history and character. Each piece is carefully inspected before listing and any significant wear is noted in the product description.

Ring Sizing

UK ring sizes are measured alphabetically. If you're unsure of your size, we recommend visiting a local jeweller to be sized before purchasing. Ring size guides are also widely available online.

• Clean gently with a soft silver polishing cloth
• Remove before swimming or bathing
